Botox and Xeomin are FDA-approved products that relax the muscles underneath the skin in order to help soften the lines between your brows, forehead, and the crow’s feet around the eyes. The procedure is quick and comfortable. You will see results as soon as three days later, but full results happen at 10-14 days. Botox and Xeomin last up to 3-4 months.

Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. The hyaluronic acid within fillers can be used to diminish facial lines as well as lift and shape. The most common dermal fillers we use at Skyline Plastic Surgery are the Juvederm and MERZ family of products. Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating. The problem may be limited to the armpits, but often the hands and feet also sweat excessively. Hyperhidrosis becomes noticeable after puberty. Stressful situations such as examinations, job interviews, or an important date often aggravate the sweating. Sometimes, it takes almost nothing for the sweating to start and once it starts, it usually worsens until the affected person can get away from everyone else and cool down. Unfortunately, most over the counter antiperspirants do not control hyperhidrosis.

Botox has been used for many years to decrease excessive sweating. When used correctly, Botox is a highly effective therapy for excessive sweating and effects can last up to 6 months or more in the majority of patients. Patients who have had Botox injections for excessive sweating are amazed by the positive change such a simple treatment can have. They often tell us that Botox injections free them from their fear of social embarrassment!

It’s a very simple process and patients are usually extremely happy with the results as it essentially eliminates the need to worry about the excessive sweating for many months at a time!

Microneedling is based on the concept that our skin will naturally repair itself when injured, much like a forest fire will promote new, vibrant growth. Microneedling is a controlled stimulation of the skin’s self-repairing process by creating tiny, micro-injuries on your skin. Your collagen will increase and any products following the treatment will be penetrated deeply into your skin.

Microneedling can also improve the appearance of acne scars, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, skin texture and wrinkles.

This highly effective resurfacing peel exfoliates dead skin cells and stimulates skin renewal. It minimizes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration including age spots and uneven skin tone. The Glow Peel can be customized in strength but the number of layers applied depending on the level of resurfacing required.
